Julia Eichler winner!
It was really something special to take part in the first SACHA project in colaboration with the Fashion Institute Arnhem. In the six months workshop, I had design lessons held by Jan Janssen and also a solid training in craftsmanship. For me as a fashion designer it was great to get some insight into shoe design.
Shoes belong to a complete outfit. It was unique to get the oppotunity to create something "not to forget about it".
As I do clothing design, I loved to work with the materials on the last to find the right shape.
That work inspired me for further designs.

I was very surprised to finally get the award which made me proud and happy.
Right after the award show, I could find my design back in the SACHA shop windows.
It was exciting for me to see my own design in a commercial context. After my graduation in summer 2008, I have continued working on my collections. Next to my job, I enjoy designing complete outfis including accessories.
